Gionee just proved that if one display’s not enough for you, have two! Gionee w909 is the latest flagship flip phone unveiled. The device features two 4.2-inch 720p displays, one inside, the other outside. Both screens are supposed to be identical IPS panels.
First revealed through TENAA, China’s version of the Federal Communications Commission, the W909 is powered by a MediaTek Helios P10 chip and comes with 4GB of RAM.
You also get 64GB of internal storage and there’s support for 128GB microSD cards. The device runs Gionee’s Amigo UI on top of Android 5.1, features a 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and boasts of a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Gionee W909 is powered by a 2530mAh lithium ion battery and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. Strangely, the device is only available in Rose Gold and Pink, for now at least. We noticed that, flipping open the phone reveals a regular numpad. We would definitely have preferred a nice QWERTY keyboard instead of T9.
