Residents of Lagos State can now 4G LTE train as ntel sim pick-up begins in some speculated designated locations. This speculation was started by someone identified as “shocker007″. This is coming days after Nigeria’s own 4G LTE operator after ntel declared they are now live in Abuja and Lagos as at April 9. Assuming this is true, Lagosians can gladly join their Abuja counterparts to collect their FREE 0804 sim cards. This article aims to inform us on how on the locations making the rounds so you could get your ntel sim in Lagos.

After announcing their entrance into the Nigeria telecommunication space last year with promises to make data more cheaper and other Telecom industry seat up, everyone has been eager to take the first bite. The hunt for ntel sim then began.

Prospective subscribers were asked to reserve their ntel numbers during a one month-long campaign and it was announced that the first batch of subscribers (hundreds of thousands) to reserve their numbers on the network, and subsequently SIM-activate after launch, will be recognized as pioneers on Nigeria’s newest mobile network.ntel-sim

The chief executive officer (CEO) of NTEL, Kamar Abass, said that this will mark them out as among the first to reap the company’s promise of abundant broadband on its pure-play advanced 4G LTE network.

It offers prospective subscribers who log on to the NTEL’s website, ntel.com.ng, the opportunity to pick and reserve up to five numbers of their choice and, provided they register in time, are eligible to become NTEL’s pioneers.

Though ntel announced plans for the first phase roll out of its commercial services where the will be sold to the public on April 8th, no one has been able to locate where where their physical office was located, not until yesterday when they began giving out ntel sim cards to residents in Abuja.

Today, unconfirmed reports reaching us indicates that they have commenced giving out the sim cards to residents of Lagos State. So, if you are living in Lagos, ntel SIM pick up is on-going at the at the following locations:

1568 Damilare Street, Off Berger, Ojodu-Berger
24 Rumens Road, South West, Ikoyi
76 Teslim Elias, Off Ahmadu Bello Way

662 Alake Way, Off Tejuoso, Off Railway Tracks, Yaba.

On their twitter handle, @ntelng says these locations are not official.

Has anyone verified these locations? Meanwhile, residents of Port-Harcourt will have to wait till next month to get their hands on their reserved . Please confirm if you are closer to these locations and let us know when you’ve picked up your own.
